Hi, I'm Jonathan Wickert, a doctoral candidate at the University of Missouri.
My name is Jonathan Wickert and I am a doctoral student at the University of Missouri working on a Ph.D. in organizational communication. My studies focus on the assimilation process. My dissertation explores the social class differences in the way people manage uncertainty during unemployment. I am currently working on three different papers related to unemployment experiences. Recently, I presented one of these papers at the National Communication Association convention in Florida. A second paper was also accepted as a top paper at the Central States Communication Association conference.

As a loss prevention detective I was responsible for monitoring store shrinkage. I maintained records of inventory and monitor shopper activity in the store. When needed I attempted to recover stolen merchandise.
